The Elsevier Experience

What I enjoy most at Elsevier is the opportunity to interact and support my colleagues by translating sessions to French and Spanish, ensuring that everybody feels included and at ease to share their experiences and challenges. For example, I have had the pleasure of facilitating translation for Anita Chandraprakash, EVP Global Operations, during her "Meeting Anita on the Bridge" sessions.

Before joining Elsevier, I knew it was a global organization with customers and colleagues as diverse as I am. As an experienced management expert, I recognize the importance of ensuring that experience teams are diverse in terms of cultures, perspectives and worldviews to effectively serve our equally diverse customers.

I am very fortunate to have been able to be part of the scientific community and to meet many of my editors in person, given that they are based all around the world. Meeting people from different backgrounds and learning about the work they are passionate about is one of the very best parts of my job.

With nearly 16 years at Elsevier, I've witnessed firsthand how visionary leadership can transform an organization, embedding diversity and inclusion into every aspect of our professional lives. I'm proud to be an Equality Ally and, more recently, a Sunflower Ally, championing inclusivity and positive change.
